The following are my comments in response to Inner Space's Nov 1, 2013 blog article entitled 蛇竇 闘蛇.
Context: In the video, a young man with limited income wishes he could find a HK woman who is not a material girl and is willing to go eat cheap meals with him at MacDonald.
Issue: Is there anything wrong with HK women wanting to marry "up" and to seek potential mates higher on the socio-economic scale?
My posted comments:
I really like the first video and note that one of the posted comments says: "提醒香港女仔吾好太港女" (the meaning of which is completely lost in English translation LOL!!!).
Anyway, I agree with the comment but also recognize the reality in HK. Just like in the wild, the most endowed alpha male usually wins the right to propagate his genes.
So, do you think it's scientifically correct - I didn't say politIcally correct - to group men into alpha, beta and omega males in the context of competing for women in HK?
